Christopher M. Danney, MD Bio
Christopher M. Danney, MD is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon. A partner at Texas Orthopedics, Sports and Rehabilitation Associates, Dr. Danney practices general orthopedics at Texas Orthopedics Northwest Austin, Cedar Park and Round Rock offices. Dr. Danney graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Biochemistry, while lettering on the University of Texas football team. He earned his Medical Degree at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, TX.
During his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Duke University, Dr. Danney provided orthopedic care for the Duke basketball and football teams. He received the William S. Ogden Traveling Fellowship Award for the Outstanding Junior Resident. He now volunteers his time as the team physician for Vandegrift High School and the Texas Stars hockey team.
Dr. Danney, a native Texan, grew up in Boerne near San Antonio. He relocated to Austin and the Texas Hill Country with his wife, Melissa. Dr. Danney has one son and enjoys golfing and traveling.
